Dog Ordinance
Animals are not allowed on the beach or boardwalk at any time between May 1 and September 30 by Town Ordinance. Any person or owner of a dog must remove any waste deposited on public or private property not owned by person or owner in possession of said dog. Also, dogs must be kept on a leash when being walked in and around Ocean City at any time.

Any person who shall violate this ordiance shall, for each and every such violation and/or noncompliance respectively, be deemed to have committed a "municipal infraction," punishable by a fine of not less than $25.00 nor more than $1,000.00.
