Skateboard Ordinance
To ensure the safety of this heavily-traveled walkway, certain regulations are in effect during the summer months. Skateboards are not permitted on the Boardwalk, public streets, alleys, sidewalks and public lots. There is a skateboard park at 3rd Street and St. Louis Avenue. Any person who shall violate this ordiance shall, for each and every such violation and/or noncompliance respectively, be deemed to have committed a "municipal infraction," punishable by a fine of not less than $25.00 nor more than $1,000.00.
